In the cosmetics industry, the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association which is soon to celebrate its 10^th anniversary is well-known for the active role in standards development and knowledge sharing for its members to align with global needs. The association currently has partners from many countries around the world.

“Thailand is a valuable source of raw materials for cosmetics especially now that the trend is focusing on sustainability and nature conservation. Our association promotes innovation, research, and standard development to support global market demands. Currently, Thai cosmetics are recognized all over Asia and the Middle East, and the market for halal cosmetics is also expanding significantly.”

President of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association Ms. Lucksupha Prabhawat, who will be attending COSMEX 2024, commented on the trends in the cosmetics industry and talked about the activities the association is currently conducting.

“We have a policy to promote the development of standards for our members, which is open to entrepreneurs of any size to apply for permanent membership. We also aim to foster cooperation both domestically and internationally, such as with local providers of raw materials, as well as with various research institutes in Korea, India, Thailand, and Europe to develop organic formulas or extracts of world-class quality.
